The best gaming laptop under 1 lakh is the Lenovo LOQ Essential with a Ryzen 7 170 and an RTX 3050 6GB at around ₹94,990. Its graphics chip runs at up to 65W, and more watts mean faster games. It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 144Hz IPS screen.
We compared six laptops from ₹79,990 to ₹1,06,500 on the makers' spec sheets and Amazon.in ratings. The Lenovo listings are new and have few ratings, so we ranked them on Lenovo's spec sheet. For bigger budgets, our best gaming laptops guide starts at about ₹1,67,370.

Gaming laptops under ₹1 lakh: quick comparison
Sorted by price. "Max GPU power" is the most power, in watts, the maker lets the graphics chip draw. With the same chip, more watts give more frames per second. VRAM is the graphics chip's own memory. Refresh rate (Hz) is how many times a second the screen redraws.

Which graphics card can you get in a gaming laptop under ₹1 lakh?
In October 2026, ₹1 lakh buys an NVIDIA RTX 3050 with 4GB or 6GB of graphics memory. RTX 4050 laptops start at about ₹1,06,500, RTX 5050 at about ₹1.49 lakh and RTX 4060 at about ₹1.69 lakh. We could not find a laptop with an AMD Radeon graphics card in this range on Amazon.in.
- RTX 3050 (4GB or 6GB): the entry tier, suited to esports games such as Valorant and CS2 at Full HD. Heavy new games need lower settings.
- RTX 4050 (6GB): a newer design that supports DLSS 3 frame generation, which NVIDIA says uses AI to add extra frames.
- RTX 5050 and RTX 4060 (8GB): the next tiers up, both well above this budget for now.
- RTX 2050: an older entry chip. HP's Victus with an RTX 2050 costs about ₹99,190, the price of an RTX 3050 laptop, so skip it.
NVIDIA's laptop GPU comparison page lists each chip's memory and power range.
Why does GPU power (TGP) matter as much as the GPU name?
The same chip runs at different power in different laptops. NVIDIA lets makers set the RTX 3050 4GB anywhere from 35W to 80W, and the RTX 4050 from 35W to 115W. A chip that gets more power runs faster, so check the watts as well as the name.
TGP means total graphics power, the wattage limit a laptop sets for its graphics chip. In our picks, the same RTX 3050 6GB runs at 45W in the MSI Thin 15 and at 65W in the Lenovo LOQ Essential.
ASUS lists 60W for the TUF A15, or 75W with Dynamic Boost, which shifts spare power from the processor to the graphics chip during games. Acer and HP do not publish this wattage for the laptops we picked, so you cannot compare their power.
GPU tier vs price: rupees per watt and per GB of VRAM
Per watt of graphics power, the RTX 3050 laptops under ₹1 lakh and the RTX 5050 and RTX 4060 laptops at about ₹1.49 lakh and ₹1.69 lakh cost about the same. The MSI Thin 15 costs the most per watt, because MSI holds its chip to 45W.
How we worked it out: we divided each laptop's Amazon.in price on 24 October 2026 by the maker's GPU power limit, and separately by its graphics memory. Lower is better in both columns. Three Lenovo LOQ models above ₹1 lakh show the next tiers.
| Laptop | GPU (VRAM) | Max GPU power | Refresh rate | Price | ₹ per watt | ₹ per GB of VRAM |

| Lenovo LOQ, RTX 4060 | RTX 4060 8GB | 115W | 144Hz | ~₹1,68,900 | ₹1,469 | ₹21,113 |
*60W without Dynamic Boost, which works out to ₹1,667 per watt.
- The MSI and the Lenovo LOQ Essential with a Ryzen 5 both use an RTX 3050 6GB, yet you pay ₹1,955 per watt for the MSI and ₹1,384 for the Lenovo.
- The RTX 4050 LOQ Essential costs ₹15,000 more than a ₹99,990 listing of the same laptop with an RTX 3050, and both run at 65W. The extra money buys the newer chip and DLSS 3, but no extra watts.
- The RTX 5050 and RTX 4060 laptops cost about the same per watt as our RTX 3050 picks, so the extra money for these laptops buys both a stronger chip and more watts.
Is 6GB of graphics memory better than 4GB?
Yes, for newer games. Graphics memory (VRAM) holds textures, the detailed images wrapped over everything in a game. With 4GB, you will need to lower texture quality sooner in big new releases. For esports games, 4GB is enough. The ASUS TUF A15 has only 4GB, but more graphics power.
Best gaming laptop under 1 lakh overall: Lenovo LOQ Essential, Ryzen 7 170

Lenovo LOQ Essential (Ryzen 7 170, RTX 3050 6GB)
65W RTX 3050 6GB, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and the best listed screen specs.
~₹94,990Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹94,990, rated 4.4 by 5 buyers.
Lenovo's spec sheet lists the RTX 3050 6GB at 65W, and the Ryzen 7 170 has 8 cores and 16 threads. You get 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen at 144Hz.
Of the picks whose makers publish colour figures, its screen has the best listed specs: 300 nits and 100% sRGB, so colours look rich. Lenovo adds Office Home 2024, a 1-year onsite warranty and 1 year of accidental damage cover.
At 1.8kg, it is joint lightest with the Ryzen 5 version, and it has a 57.5Wh battery. Lenovo lists the Ryzen 7 170 and Ryzen 7 7735HS with identical specs, so skip the 7735HS listing that costs ₹5,000 more.
- Buy it if you want the best mix of graphics power, screen quality and low weight under ₹1 lakh.
- Worth knowing: the 16GB fills only one memory slot. Lenovo's sheet shows two slots but lists 16GB as the most it offers, so ask a Lenovo service centre before adding more.
Best value gaming laptop under ₹90,000: Lenovo LOQ Essential, Ryzen 5 7535HS

Lenovo LOQ Essential (Ryzen 5 7535HS, RTX 3050 6GB)
The same 65W RTX 3050 6GB and 144Hz IPS screen for ₹5,000 less.
~₹89,990Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹89,990, rated 3.5 by 2 buyers.
This is the same LOQ Essential with a 6-core, 12-thread Ryzen 5 7535HS in place of the 8-core chip. Lenovo's spec sheet lists the same screen, battery and 65W graphics as the Ryzen 7 version.
That means an RTX 3050 6GB, a 300-nit IPS screen at 144Hz and a 57.5Wh battery. You also get 16GB of DDR5 RAM (limited to 16GB, as on the Ryzen 7), a 512GB SSD, a 1.8kg weight and the same warranty.
Frame rates depend mainly on the graphics chip, so losing two cores makes little difference in games, and you save ₹5,000. Extra cores help more if you also stream or edit videos.
- Buy it if you play games most of the time and want Lenovo's 65W RTX 3050 for the least money.
- Skip it if you stream while you play. The 8-core Ryzen 7 170 version suits that better.
Best budget gaming laptop: Acer ALG, Core i7-13620H

Acer ALG (Core i7-13620H, RTX 3050 6GB)
The lowest-priced RTX 3050 6GB laptop we found, with a 10-core Core i7.
~₹79,990Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹79,990, rated 3.8 by 110 buyers. Amazon.in showed only one unit left when we checked.
This is the lowest-priced RTX 3050 6GB laptop we found, about ₹10,000 below the Ryzen 5 Lenovo. It has a 10-core Core i7-13620H, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD screen at 144Hz. Acer's listing says the RAM can go up to 64GB.
Acer does not publish the GPU power for this model. The listing says the screen covers 45% of NTSC colours, so it looks paler than the Lenovo's. The listing rates the battery at 2 hours. It weighs 1.99kg, comes without Office and has a 1-year warranty.
- Buy it if your budget stops at ₹80,000 and you mainly play esports games.
- Worth knowing: the same ALG with a Core i5-13420H costs about ₹95,000 for a slower processor, so skip that listing.
Best for upgrades: ASUS TUF A15 (2026), Ryzen 7 8845HS

ASUS TUF A15 2026 (Ryzen 7 8845HS, RTX 3050 4GB)
RTX 3050 at up to 75W with Dynamic Boost, and RAM that goes to 64GB.
~₹99,990Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹99,990, rated 4.8 by 8 buyers.
ASUS lists the RTX 3050 4GB at 60W, or 75W with Dynamic Boost, the highest published graphics power here. The catch is 4GB of graphics memory. The Ryzen 7 8845HS has 8 cores, 16 threads and speeds up to 5.1GHz.
It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. ASUS's spec page lists up to 64GB of DDR5 across two slots, plus a second M.2 SSD slot. The Acer and MSI also reach 64GB, but with older DDR4. ASUS includes Office Home 2024 and a 1-year warranty with onsite service in India.
The trade-offs are weight and screen. It weighs 2.3kg and has a 48Wh battery. ASUS rates the 144Hz Full HD panel at 250 nits with 62.5% sRGB, so it is dimmer and paler than the Lenovo's screen.
- Buy it if you plan to add RAM or a second SSD later, or want the most published graphics power under ₹1 lakh.
- Worth knowing: the TUF A15 with a 6-core Ryzen 7 7445HS costs about ₹96,900 with the same 4GB RTX 3050.
Most storage: MSI Thin 15, Core i5-13420H

MSI Thin 15 (Core i5-13420H, RTX 3050 6GB, 1TB)
1TB SSD, double the others, but a 45W graphics chip.
~₹87,990Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹87,990, rated 3.7 by 17 buyers.
The MSI is the only pick with a 1TB SSD, double the others. It pairs an RTX 3050 6GB with an 8-core Core i5-13420H, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 15.6-inch Full HD screen at 144Hz.
MSI holds the RTX 3050 to 45W, the lowest published figure here, so expect fewer frames than from the 65W Lenovo with the same chip. MSI lists two RAM slots that take up to 64GB, plus a 2.5-inch drive bay. It weighs 1.86kg, has a 52.4Wh battery and includes Office Home 2024.
The listing promises a 2-year onsite warranty, but MSI offers onsite service in selected regions only, and a third-party seller lists this laptop. Confirm the cover with MSI India and check the seller's rating.
- Buy it if you install many big games and want the most storage out of the box.
- Skip it if you want the most frames for your money. The Lenovo LOQ Essential with a Ryzen 5 costs ₹2,000 more and gets 20W more graphics power.
Worth stretching for: HP Victus 15 with RTX 4050

HP Victus 15 (Core i5-13420H, RTX 4050 6GB)
The newer RTX 4050 6GB and a 70Wh battery, about ₹6,500 over budget.
~₹1,06,500Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹1,06,500, rated 4.2 by 304 buyers, the most-reviewed laptop here.
This is the lowest-priced RTX 4050 6GB laptop we found. It comes with an 8-core Core i5-13420H, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen at 144Hz. The newer chip supports DLSS 3 frame generation.
Its 70Wh battery is the largest listed here, which helps during short power cuts. HP does not publish the RTX 4050's power limit for this model, and Amazon's listing gives 16GB as the RAM maximum. It weighs 2.29 to 2.37kg, per the listing, and comes with Office 2021 and a 1-year warranty.
- Buy it if you can spend about ₹6,500 over ₹1 lakh for a newer graphics chip.
- Worth knowing: a third-party seller lists it, so check the seller's rating and register the warranty on HP's website.
Is there a gaming laptop under ₹70,000 or ₹80,000?
Under ₹70,000, not a new one with a separate graphics card, in October 2026. Under ₹80,000, the lowest-priced one we found on Amazon.in was the Acer ALG with an RTX 3050 at about ₹79,990. Laptops under ₹70,000 use graphics built into the processor, which run older and esports games at low settings only.
Gaming only now and then? Our best laptop under ₹1 lakh guide covers lighter all-rounders.
How do Indian summers and power cuts affect a gaming laptop?
Heat slows a gaming laptop down, and gaming drains the battery fast. In a hot room, raise the back of the laptop, keep the vents clear and play on a hard surface. Plan to play plugged in, and treat the battery as a backup during short power cuts.
Cooling pads push extra air underneath the laptop. The five-fan Cosmic Byte Cyclone cooling pad costs about ₹1,899, and 902 buyers rate it 4.1.
Clean the vents every few months, because dust builds up fast. Lenovo rates the LOQ Essential at 3.5 hours in an office-work test, so expect far less time when gaming.
To play through a power cut, your inverter needs 120W to 180W to spare for the Lenovo, MSI or ASUS charger. Our inverter guide explains which appliances an inverter can run.
Can you upgrade the RAM and storage later?
On most picks, yes. The ASUS, MSI and Acer take up to 64GB of RAM, and the ASUS, MSI, Acer and Lenovo have room for a second drive. The Lenovo and HP list 16GB as their memory limit.
The Acer's second SSD slot appears in the listing for its Core i5 version, so confirm it on the Core i7 model. The Lenovo's second slot takes only the short M.2 2242 size, up to 1TB.
What to check before you buy
- GPU model and VRAM. At least an RTX 3050 6GB for new games, or an RTX 4050 if you can stretch. Avoid the RTX 2050.
- Max GPU power (TGP). Look for 60W or more on an RTX 3050. If the listing leaves it out, check the maker's spec sheet.
- Processor. A 6-core processor whose name ends in H or HS is enough for gaming. Newer names such as Ryzen 7 170 drop the letters, so check the core count.
- RAM. 16GB, ideally with a free slot to add more later.
- Storage. 512GB fills fast with big games, so check for a second SSD slot or pick the 1TB MSI.
- Refresh rate. 144Hz makes fast games look smoother than a 60Hz screen. For a bigger screen at home, see our best gaming monitor guide.
- Weight, battery and warranty. Our picks weigh 1.8 to 2.37kg, and the listed batteries range from 48Wh to 70Wh. Register the warranty on the maker's website.
- Price. In October 2026, ₹80,000 to ₹1 lakh buys an RTX 3050 laptop, and RTX 4050 laptops start at about ₹1,06,500.
Which gaming laptop under 1 lakh should you buy?
For most people, buy the Lenovo LOQ Essential with the Ryzen 7 170 at around ₹94,990. Its RTX 3050 6GB runs at 65W, and it has 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and the best listed screen specs here.
To save ₹5,000, the Ryzen 5 7535HS version has the same 65W graphics chip and screen. If your budget stops at ₹80,000, the Acer ALG at around ₹79,990 still gets you a 6GB RTX 3050.
For upgrades, the ASUS TUF A15 takes up to 64GB of RAM. At ₹1,06,500, the HP Victus 15 brings the newer RTX 4050.
