The best smart TV under ₹30,000 in India is the Xiaomi FX Pro 43-inch 4K QLED at around ₹27,499, rated 4.2 stars from 2,232 buyers. That is the largest review base of any 4K TV at this price.
There is also a trap in this bracket that costs people half their screen. It is easiest to see by comparing two TVs that cost almost the same.

At this price the brand name costs you the screen
Take two TVs that cost roughly the same, and read their specification tables rather than their names.
- Sony BRAVIA 32-inch, ₹28,990. Amazon's spec table lists its resolution as 768p.
- Hisense 43-inch E6S, ₹24,749. Same table lists 4K.
The Hisense costs ₹4,241 less. It also gives you 81 percent more screen area and nearly eight times the pixels, because a 43-inch 4K panel carries 8.3 million of them against 1.05 million on a 32-inch HD panel.
The Sony is a good 32-inch television. Its 4.6 rating is the highest here, the picture processing is genuinely better, and Sony's panel tuning shows. None of that makes up for 81 percent less screen.
Samsung does the same thing one size up. Its 43-inch T5350 at ₹29,990 is 1080p, so you pay ₹5,241 more than the Hisense for a quarter of the pixels at the same screen size.
Under ₹30,000 the familiar Japanese and Korean names sell you their entry models, while Hisense, TCL, Xiaomi and Philips sell you their mid models. In this bracket that specification gap decides it.
Where 4K actually starts, and what HD Ready means
HD Ready means 1366 x 768. It is the lowest resolution still sold, and the name does a lot of work to hide that. Full HD is 1920 x 1080. 4K is 3840 x 2160.
Walking up this bracket, each step adds this:
- ₹14,000 to ₹18,000. 32-inch, 768p. Fine for a bedroom or a kitchen at close range.
- ₹22,000. 43-inch, but still 1080p.
- ₹24,700 and up. Real 43-inch 4K from a brand with service in India.
- ₹29,700. 50-inch 4K, the largest screen in this budget.
So ₹24,749 is the line. Below it you are choosing between size and sharpness. Above it you get both.
On a 32-inch screen viewed from two metres, 4K would be invisible anyway. The reason to want 4K is that it comes on the 43-inch and 50-inch panels, where you can see it.
Best smart TV under ₹30,000 overall: Xiaomi FX Pro 43-inch

Xiaomi FX Pro 43in 4K QLED
4K QLED with Google TV, and 2,232 ratings behind it.
~₹27,499Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹27,499, rated 4.2 from 2,232 buyers, the most feedback behind any 4K TV in this bracket.
QLED rather than plain LED is the reason to pick it. The quantum dot layer gives noticeably richer colour, and on a budget panel that difference is more visible day to day than any HDR badge.
It runs Google TV with proper Netflix and Prime Video certification, so both stream in HD rather than dropping to 480p the way uncertified budget sets do. The 30W speakers are louder than the 20W most rivals fit.
- Buy it if you want the best-evidenced 4K TV at this price and better colour than plain LED.
- Skip it if you want the biggest screen. The 50-inch Hisense costs ₹2,250 more.
Best 4K value: Hisense 43E6S

Hisense 43E6S 4K
The lowest price for genuine 43in 4K from a known brand.
~₹24,749Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹24,749, rated 4.0 from 901 buyers.
The lowest price at which a recognised brand sells you a genuine 43-inch 4K panel. Everything below this figure is either smaller or lower resolution.
It runs Google TV, so the app situation is the same as on TVs costing ₹5,000 more. The picture processing is plainer than the Xiaomi's and the speakers are ordinary.
- Buy it if you want real 4K at the lowest sensible price.
- Worth knowing: the same 901 ratings appear on both the 43-inch and 50-inch versions, because reviews are pooled across sizes of one model.
Best for gaming and sport: Philips 43-inch 8100 QLED

Philips 43in 8100 QLED 120Hz
The only 120Hz panel here, for sport and console gaming.
~₹29,999Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹29,999, rated 4.2 from 1,767 buyers.
120Hz is the rare spec here. Every other TV here that lists a refresh rate runs at 60Hz. Amazon's spec table lists this one at 120Hz, which is unusual under ₹30,000 and the best reason to choose it.
That doubled refresh rate shows up in two places: fast panning during cricket and football looks cleaner, and a PS5 or Xbox Series X can run supported games at 120 frames per second.
It is QLED as well, so colour matches the Xiaomi.
- Buy it if you watch a lot of sport, or you own a current console.
- Skip it if you mostly stream films and shows. Those are mastered at 24 or 30fps and 120Hz does nothing for them.
Biggest screen: Hisense 50E6S

Hisense 50E6S 4K
50 inches of 4K, the largest screen under ₹30,000.
~₹29,749Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹29,749, rated 4.0 from 901 buyers.
50 inches of 4K, and the largest screen you can buy under ₹30,000 without dropping to a brand that has no service network.
Against the 43-inch version it adds 35 percent more screen area for ₹5,000. If your sofa sits three metres back or further, that extra size does more for the viewing experience than QLED colour would.
- Buy it if the room is large and you sit three metres or more from the screen.
- Skip it if your viewing distance is under two and a half metres. At that range a 50-inch screen makes you move your eyes to follow the picture.
Best 32-inch: LG 32LR600

LG 32LR600
18,196 ratings, the most trusted small TV in India.
~₹16,490Amazon.in
Check price →Around ₹16,490, rated 4.2 from 18,196 buyers. That is by far the largest review base on this page, and one of the largest for any TV sold in India.
For a bedroom, a kitchen or a second room, a 32-inch set at ₹16,490 is the sensible purchase. LG's webOS is quicker than most budget smart platforms and gets updates for years.
It is 768p. At 32 inches from two metres away you will not notice.
- Buy it if you need a second TV and want the one with the most buyer evidence behind it.
- Skip it if this is the main living room television. Put the money into a 43-inch 4K set instead.
Most affordable: Philips 32-inch 6100
Around ₹14,599, rated 4.2 from 1,004 buyers.
The lowest price here that still comes with Google TV and a frameless design. For ₹1,891 less than the LG you get the same screen size and the same practical resolution.
The LG has eighteen times the reviews, which is worth something. The Philips has the better-looking cabinet and a slightly newer platform.
- Buy it if ₹15,000 is the budget and you want Google TV rather than a basic smart platform.
- Worth knowing: its spec table says 720p where the LG says 768p. In practice both are the same 1366 x 768 class of panel.
What size suits your room
Screen size should follow viewing distance, and most people in this bracket buy too small rather than too large.
- Under 2 metres. 32 inches. A bedroom or a kitchen.
- 2 to 3 metres. 43 inches. This covers most Indian living rooms.
- 3 metres or more. 50 inches. A larger hall, or a sofa against the far wall.
Measure from where you actually sit to where the TV will hang. A 43-inch set is 96cm wide, and a 50-inch set is 111cm, so check the wall and the table before ordering either.
What to check before you buy
- Read the specification table, not the title. HD Ready means 768p. Only a listed 3840 x 2160 or 4K is genuinely 4K.
- Check Netflix and Prime certification. Officially certified sets stream in HD. Uncertified ones often cap at 480p, and the listing rarely admits it.
- Plan for the sound. Every TV here fits 20W to 30W speakers, which is thin for a living room. A budget soundbar does more for the experience than a resolution upgrade.
- Count the HDMI ports. Two is the minimum. A set-top box plus a console or a Fire Stick fills them immediately.
- Ignore the rating without the review count. Several TVs in this bracket show 4.4 or higher on fewer than 25 ratings, which tells you almost nothing.
- Check the wall mount cost. Many listings include basic installation but charge separately for the bracket.
Which TV to buy
For most living rooms the answer is the Xiaomi FX Pro 43-inch at around ₹27,499. 4K QLED, Google TV, and 2,232 ratings behind it.
Spending less, the Hisense 43E6S at ₹24,749 is the lowest price for genuine 43-inch 4K from a brand with service here.
For a bedroom, the LG 32LR600 at ₹16,490 carries more buyer evidence than anything else on this page.
Whichever you choose, check the resolution line in the specification table before you pay. In this bracket a famous badge on the bezel can cost you eleven inches of screen and seven million pixels.
